The DIY market is maintaining steady growth, even though the rate of increase is slightly down
AMA Research estimates that the volume of the DIY market in the UK amounted to £ 6.059 bn (€ 8.857 bn) in the year 2002. That would indicate an increase of 5.6 per cent over the previous year. According to the market researchers, the rates of growth for the years 2000 and 2001 were between six and seven per cent. A detailed report on this subject will be published in our specialist magazine DIY in Europe.
