NBB moves nextdoor

The German NBB group has opened a branch office at Wels in Upper Austria in order to service franchisees in Austria. The managers of NBB Austria are Heinz Dingfelder, a board member from the German headquarters, and Jürgen Sauer, the German marketing manager. Dr Wolfgang Ennöckel is the marketing manager for Austria. The first Austrian DIY store in NBB’s Bauspezi retail format has opened at Ulrichsberg. It is operated by Gerhard Resch and offers a range of about 8 000 items on a retail area of 700 m². According to information from NBB executive Heinz Dingfelder, the franchise group has already signed three more contracts with DIY store operators and taken four options. There should be ten stores in Austria by the end of the year.
