First meeting in Europe

The Worldwide DIY Council, an association of American and Canadian exporters, will hold its next meeting in Barcelona on 2 - 4 December 2003. This will be the group’s first meeting in Europe and those attending will hear from Manfred Maus, the founder of Obi, Baumax board member Hans-Jörg Greimel, Luis Herrero of Leroy Merlin and Carlos Pascal, president of Spanish hardware and DIY wholesaler Medid Precision S.A. Other speakers will look at topics such as logistics improvement and market developments in the Middle East following the end of the Iraq war.
