Julius Blum of Höchst, Austria, ended the 2002/2003 financial year (to 30 June 2003) with group sales of € 590.6 mio. This amounts to an increase of 6.3 per cent. The proportion of sales achieved abroad remains unchanged at 96 per cent. The company registered strongly differing trends in the European sales area, which accounts for 49 per cent of overall sales. Business in Germany showed a negative tendency, but positive developments were obvious in other countries.
