The retail trade is experiencing double-digit growth and there is also to be a special German event at Ambiente Rossija.

The fifth Ambiente Rossija, to be held in Moscow from 2 to 5 October 2003, will include a special government-sponsored event for German manufacturers of consumer goods called “German Living 2003”. The middle class in Russia is estimated at around ten million families. Of interest to German suppliers: In a survey carried out by GfK Russia (a consumer research company), 71 per cent of consumers put German products at the top of their popularity scale.
