Space shrinkage in Chicago

The three-day National Hardware Show, which came to an end in Chicago on 12 August, occupied an area of 42 000 m² at McCormick Place; last year’s figure was still 65 000 m². The event has suffered a 64 per cent decrease in area since the year 2000, when use was made of three halls offering an exhibition space of as much as 116 000 m².
