Impressive figures in August

For the month of August Rautatesko has announced sales up by 35.8 per cent over the figures for August 2002. The volume of sales amounted to € 95.1 mio. The main escalation came from abroad: whereas the group’s Kesko subsidiary achieved sales of € 61.2 mio on the home market in Finland, or 6.9 per cent more than one year previously, it notched up growth of 165.6 per cent abroad for a total of € 33.9 mio.
