Expansionary plans for Sweden

Hornbach is planning to set up ten stores in Sweden over the next five years, in a move that would create 1 400 new jobs. As previously reported, the German DIY multiple has already made its entry on this market through the opening of a store in Göteborg last week. This is the biggest Hornbach outlet ever, boasting a retail area of 19 000 m² (weighted: 14 144 m²). The garden centre alone accounts for 4 400 m² of the total space.
