Market for gardening tools grows steadily

The Bundesagentur für Außenwirtschaft estimates that the demand for gardening tools will continue to increase in the USA. In the past year, the volume of the US market for gardening tools was US $ 8.5 bn (€ 7.3bn). It is expected up to 2007 the annual growth rates will be 3.1 per cent and the increase US $ 9.9 bn (€ 8.5 bn). Local manufacturers cover roughly 95 per cent of the market, according to BFAI data, but this figure includes subsidiaries of foreign companies.
