Italian-Chinese joint venture

The Italian fair organisers Bologna Fiere and the Chinese promoters CMP Sinexpo have announced a joint venture that involves staging two fairs together in China. One of them is Expo Build China, which will be held for the twelfth time in Shanghai from 6 to 9 April 2004 and was previously run by CMP Sinexpo under another name altogether. The other fair, Ceramics, Tile & Sanitary Ware China, is also due to open for business at the same time. The trade organisation known as the China Building Ceramics & Sanitary Ware Association is involved as co-organiser of the event. Together the two fairs will come to an exhibition area in excess of 35 000 m². The organisers expect the attendance figures to include more than 500 exhibitors and 40 000 visitors.
