B&Q opened three new DIY superstores in China during the third quarter (to 1 November). They included the biggest B&Q location in the world, an outlet with a retail area of approximately 23 000 m² that was inaugurated in October in Peking. The UK group had 14 stores in operation in China at the end of the third quarter. The number of B&Q stores in Taiwan has increased by one to a total of 16.
