Following a deficit in November, the French DIY retailers were up on the previous year’s result in December

The DIY retail sector in France ended the year 2003 with a 1.9 per cent sales increase in December over the same month in the previous year. It must be said that the figures did not look so good in November: according to information from the FMB (Fédération des Magasins de Bricolage), the sector recorded sales 3.4 per cent lower than in November 2002.
