Positive momentum for construction and renovation in Greece

Positive momentum is currently prevailing in the Greek construction and renovation sector. This is the most important message to come out of the 14th DIY & Home Improvement Conference, according to the organisers from Karydakis Media. The conference, with around 230 participants, took place in Athens at the end of November. In contrast to the rest of Europe, the number of building permits is increasing in Greece. There are tax incentives and funding programmes for modernisation and energy-efficient renovations with a volume of EUR 2.2 bn. This will have a positive impact on the Greek home improvement market.
