Since February garden centre employees are working on training modules by e-learning

Just in time for the spring planting season, Home Depot has introduced a training programme for garden centre staff focused on the category of live plants. Since February 1 700 employees have achieved certification as Certified Nursery Consultants, which qualifies them to advise customers on the choice and care of plants. The e-learning programme was developed in conjunction with the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and the interactive agency Macquarium Intelligent Communications. The curriculum includes 16 hours of interactive training.
