Obi: 2004/2005 figures

In the last financial year (1 May 2004 to 30 April 2005), Obi’s sales rose 1.9 per cent (currency adjusted) to approx. € 5.1 bn. The company employs 38 443 staff. One in four of Obi’s 497 outlets (as of April 2005) is located abroad. The company’s objective in the medium term is to increase the foreign portion of its overall sales from 30 per cent at present to 50 per cent.
