Expansion in Croatia

Baumax opened its fifth branch in Croatia on 16 December 2008. It is the Austrian market leader’s second new opening in the country this year. The new 12 000 m² outlet is geared to the company’s “Four Worlds” concept (building, home, tools and garden), like its stores in Austria. The largest share of floorspace is dedicated to the building segment in response to the great demand for building materials in Zadar. New services on offer at Baumax include a mixing centre for façade rendering and an in-house sewing service in the textile department.
