Repositioning for Bau

Bau, the trade fair that is staged in Munich every two years, is to be relaunched in 2011 as the "world's leading fair for architecture, materials and systems". This reflects a repositioning of the fair away from the current focus on Europe to become a trade event with claims to world leadership in its field. The Bau fair staged in January of this year registered a new record total of 212 000 visitors from 151 countries despite the economic crisis. In 2011 the fair will be held from 17 - 22 January, which is a week later than previously.
