Departure from Koelnmesse

Metin Ergül (photo), vice president trade fair management at Koelnmesse, is leaving the company on 31 March 2012 in order to take up a new position as managing director of a business in the health care market. Ergül, who has been with Koelnmesse since July 2006, has in particular looked after the events in the home, garden and leisure sectors during his time there. These included the International Hardware Fair, Spoga+Gafa and Asia-Pacific Sourcing, as well as some fairs abroad such as the China International Hardware Show. His area of responsibility will be taken over by Katharina C. Hamma, chief operating office of Koelnmesse, until a replacement has been appointed.
