A first in Istanbul

The first Baumax store in Istanbul, an outlet of some 15 000 m², was opened on 29 May 2012. With this new addition the Austrian company now has a total of six stores in Turkey. Located in the European part of the city, the new two-storey outlet carries a range of products that is tailored to the specific needs of the country. Furthermore, over 75 per cent of the suppliers are from this region. Another special feature mentioned in the announcement is the separate entrance and checkout facility for trade customers.Currently Baumax has 159 stores in operation in nine countries: six of them in Turkey, 66 in Austria, 24 in the Czech Republic, 15 in Slovakia, 15 in Hungary, four in Slovenia, seven in Croatia, 15 in Romania and seven in Bulgaria.
