Agreement reached

The American Home Depot Inc. intends to take over U.S. Home Systems Inc., as revealed by an announcement on the latter’s internet site. The company manufactures products for bathrooms and kitchens, which Home Depot has been selling for years already. The takeover should be completed by year’s end, provided the competition authorities are in agreement.
