Leroy Merlin: departure from Turkey

Leroy Merlin, a French DIY retail chain, is ending its involvement in Turkey. The group’s two locations, with a combined sales area in excess of 23 000 m², are to close down at the end of March. Reports to this effect have been confirmed by the company. The DIY retailer, which is part of Groupe Adeo, opened a first Turkish store in Bursa in 2010, while the second followed one year later in Ankara.
