Home Depot announces nine per cent growth

Home Depot has completed the first quarter of its financial year 2016/2017 (ending 1 May 2016) with an increase in sales of 9.0 per cent compared to the same period last year. The US and global market leader in the DIY trade made USD 22.762 bn in sales in those three months. Comparable store sales were positive 6.5 per cent, stores in the USA report a like-for-like growth of 7.4 per cent.
