Bricorama grows in France and loses in Benelux

With sales of € 166.1 mio in the first quarter of 2016, the French DIY store operator Bricorama has exceeded the corresponding previous year's level by 3.7 per cent. This growth was driven by a positive trend in the industry in France. Here Bricorama increased its sales by 4.6 per cent to € 110.9 mio . In contrast the Benelux countries recorded a drop of 1.7 per cent to € 48.9 mio. The high increase of 46.6 per cent to € 6.22 mio in Spain is mainly due to the takeover of four stores; although there was also like-for-like growth here.
