Two management positions in the Swiss Coop Group have new incumbents. Daniel Hintermann will now head the logistics directorate, while Christian Coppey will be responsible for real estate. Both will assume their new roles on 1 May 2017. Daniel Hintermann succeeds Leo Ebneter, who retires on 30 June 2017 after 38 years with the Coop. Christian Coppey will take over from Jean-Marc Chapuis, a Coop veteran of 34 years who is likewise stepping down at the end of June 2017.
Daniel Hintermann (46) has been with the Coop Group for fifteen years and is currently responsible for the logistics region of north-west Switzerland. For the last ten years Christian Coppey (51) has been division manager at Maus Frères SA, which operates the Jumbo DIY chain, and has been working in real estate & shopping centre management in Geneva.
