The special Retail Boulevard presentation met with great interest. Solutions were shown for designing selling space in the five retail formats DIY, garden centre, floristry, furniture and supermarket.
The figures also reflect the good mood at the fair which took place from 25 to 29 January 2019. This is because the entire trade fair trio, made up of Christmasworld, Paperworld and Creativeworld, was attended by 87 000 visitors from 161 countries (2018: 160 countries) and therefore 0.6 per cent more than a year ago. The number of exhibitors at these three parallel events rose by 3.4 per cent to 3 119 companies from 69 countries (2018: 69 countries).
Among the top visitor nations, in addition to Germany, were also Italy, the Netherlands, Great Britain, the USA, France and Russia. The trade fair organisers reported a particularly large level of growth from China and the USA.
