In Hall 6 there will be a theme-focused area called the Power Place City Gardening; international exhibitors will present their trend products from the sections irrigation, plant growing and multifunctional furniture. In addition, city gardening has been awarded its own POS Green Solution Island. With concrete examples of implementation for large surfaces and the specialised trade to increase the demand and turnover, these special areas are conceived to offer real added value in the end consumer communication. Alongside City Gardening as the core theme, the titles of this year's POS Green Solution Islands are "Wellness in Nature", "Kids Garden", "Flower Power" and "Living with Plants - My Tiny Coffee Shop".
Further focus lies on the theme of plants as a brand. For this reason, the theme area Power of Plant Brands is being newly set up this year. In this way, the most important players will be brought together at the trade fair in one location in the scope of a focused lecture programme as well as an exclusive networking event.
At the press conference, representatives of the garden and DIY trade emphasised the significance of Spoga+Gafa. For example, John Herbert, General Secretary of the European DIY Retail Association (Edra), acknowledged the further improved quality of the trade fair in recent years and says: "Every CEO in the world must send people to Spoga+Gafa".
The leading international trade fair for the green industry will be held from 1 to 3 September 2019. Around 2 100 exhibitors from 60 countries will present everything the green industry currently has to offer on 230 000 m² of exhibition space. As of May, almost 98 per cent of the planned exhibition space is already booked.
