Four out of six months positive in France

Four months in the black, two not so good is the verdict on the first six months of the fiscal year for DIY stores in France. Sales by home improvement retailers in June exceeded those of the same month in 2018 by 2.08 per cent. This information came from the latest monthly report of the Banque de France, which is published regularly by the French DIY association FMB.
According to the report, the strongest growth in the first six months of 2019 occurred in February, when sales were reported to be up by 5.01 per cent. The biggest decline was in April with a drop of 1.80 per cent.
