The show in March will not only feature a new hall and additional floor space, but the segments will also be distributed more uniformly across all the halls. The largest product offering remains the Tool section in halls 2, 4, 5, 10 and 11. The Industrial Supply segment will again be located in halls 2 to 5, while exhibitors in the Fasteners and Fixings and Home Improvement segments will present their products and services in halls 2 to 5 and 11.
More than 85 per cent of exhibitors at the 2020 fair will again come from abroad. As of November, apart from a large number of exhibitors from Germany, other European countries were also strongly represented, according to Koelnmesse. Italy, Poland and the Netherlands all have strong contingents, while countries from further afield with a large exhibitor presence will be China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India and the USA. The significance of the event as the foremost meeting point for the industry is also highlighted by the names on the registration list, according to the fair management.
The product offering is underpinned by an extensive programme of events. The high point will be the presentation of the "Eisen Innovation Award powered by ZHH".
