In Austria too, the industry has profited from the weather phenomena. Analogue to this, the product group garden chemicals/soils/seeds was the strongest driver with a plus of 9.5 per cent. With garden equipment (+8.6 per cent) and wood (+8.1 per cent), two further outdoor assortments were also under the best sold product groups.
Only two segments were not able to generate growth in the year 2019: however with the products "other" (-2.2 per cent) and tiles (-0.8 per cent), no long-term trend can be determined here according to BHB.
