Lockdown in Germany has been extended by a further three weeks. This also affects DIY stores which will not be able to open again until 8 March at the earliest. This was decided yesterday by the German Chancellor and the minister-presidents of the 16 German states. However, in one of the states, Hessen, garden centres have been allowed to sell their entire assortment since last week. In North Rhine-Westphalia, it has already been possible for them to sell plants and accessories since the start of the lockdown on 16 December 2020.
