Lowe’s increases comparable sales by 26 per cent

US home improvement chain Lowe's reports total sales of USD 24.422 bn (EUR 20.00 bn) for the first quarter (ending 30 April) of its fiscal year 2020/2021. This is an increase of 24.1 per cent. Comparable sales increased by 25.9 per cent. Comparable sales for the US home improvement business increased by 24.4 per cent. "We delivered over 30 per cent growth in pro, over 18 per cent growth in all 15 US regions, and growth in Canada that outpaced the US," commented Marvin R. Ellison, Lowe's president and CEO.
