IPM Essen in January 2022 has been cancelled. The next edition of the world-leading horticulture fair will now take place from 24 to 27 January 2023. Messe Essen is organising an additional show, however: the IPM Summer Edition will be staged on 13 and 14 June 2022.
Originally scheduled for 25 to 28 January 2022, IPM Essen cannot take place in the difficult situation prevailing globally at present due to the pandemic, says the organiser in justification of the one-year delay. "Notwithstanding all the anticipation in advance of the green sector's most important platform, great uncertainty now exists among exhibitors and visitors," explains Oliver P. Kuhrt, CEO of Messe Essen.
To satisfy the urgent desire for a communications platform next year, the IPM Summer Edition will give the green sector an opportunity to exchange news and views. The summer event will be structured around a showroom that will present innovative products both on site and on the World Wide Web. A mixture of exhibition and network meetings is planned.
