Tractor Supply, the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the United States, reports net sales for the fiscal year 2021 of USD 10.620 bn (EUR 9.528 bn). This is an increase of 19.9 per cent compared with the previous year. Comparable store sales increased by 16.9 per cent versus a 23.1 per cent increase in fiscal 2020. During 2021, the retailer opened 80 new Tractor Supply stores and seven new Petsense stores and closed eleven Petsense stores.
In the fourth quarter, net sales grew by 15.3 per cent to USD 3.319 bn (EUR 2.978 bn). Comparable store sales increased by 12.7 per cent. All geographical regions and major merchandising categories had comparable store sales growth, the retailer underlines. In addition, e-commerce sales experienced strong double-digit growth for the 38th consecutive quarter, according to the company.
