Shortly after entering the Spanish market, the Malaysian retail chain Mr. DIY will open its second location in the country in a few days, this time in the capital Madrid. This has been reported by the industry service C de Comunicación. The second store will also be located in a shopping centre.
As C de Comunicación reported shortly after the first Mr. DIY store opened in the city of Talavera de la Reina, the Malaysian chain, despite its name, focuses not only on DIY products but also carries a large household category assortment. Well-known brands, for example in the tools section, are not represented; the retailer relies mainly on its own brands in the entry-level price range.
