A change in leadership is in the offing at Dutch DIY group Intergamma. Joost de Beijer (47) will take up the post of CEO on 1 September 2022. He succeeds Harm-Jan Stoter, who is stepping down after 17 years at the helm of the company. Intergamma owns the DIY formats Gamma and Karwei.
Joost de Beijer brings a lot of experience from the DIY trade. He has worked at Maxeda DIY, where, among other things, he managed the Praxis sales division for five years. After that, he was Chief Financial Officer at the Dutch department stores' group Hema.
