Mr. DIY returns to home region and sets sights on Vietnam

Ubiquitous Asian home improvement retailer Mr. DIY has set its sights on Vietnam, one of the three remaining countries in Southeast Asia that the Malaysian giant has yet to venture into. Leo Gan, Mr. DIY Malaysia's senior vice-president for business development, announced on his LinkedIn page that the retailer is setting up shop in the country during the year. He also disclosed that he had met with the team that will pioneer operations in the country. "[This is the] first official dinner with local pioneer team of Mr DIY Vietnam. Looking good and hope for a good start for Vietnam by this year!" he said in his post.
