Miguel Müllenbach becomes new chief financial officer of Obi

Miguel Müllenbach (47) has been appointed as the new chief financial officer of the German Obi Group. He will take over this role on 1 December 2023 from CEO Sebastian Gundel, who was responsible for the finance department on an interim basis following the departure of Oliver Geiling at the end of July. The new Obi CFO was CEO of department stores' group Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof from June 2020 to May 2023. He has worked at Karstadt since 2005. From 2012, he held various management positions there.
