Mr. DIY Greece negotiating lease for first store

Two years after setting up a subsidiary in Greece, home improvement retailer Mr. DIY has reportedly jump-started operations there. Recent media reports in the country stated that Mr. DIY was negotiating the lease of an 800 to 900 m² property in Athens for its Greek debut.

They also stated that the subsidiary, Mr. DIY Greece Sole Proprietorship SA, indicated in a regulatory filing that it had planned on starting its activities in the country in 2023. If the reports prove correct, Greece will become Mr. DIY's second market in the European Union after Spain.
