International Hardware Fair Italy returns to Bergamo

The International Hardware Fair Italy is returning to Bergamo on 8 and 9 May 2025 for a second edition, according to a press release by Koelnmesse.

The Italian trade show is to alternate in uneven years with the Cologne Hardware Fair, with the emergence of AI, industry trends and the development of European distribution constituting key topics at the new edition. Leading brands and associations have already made important commitments to the International Hardware Fair Italy. On 8 and 9 May 2025, professionals from across Europe operating in the sectors of hardware, home improvement, garden and outdoor, safety, building and paint as well as electrical and industrial supplies will come together in Italy.

“According to the report from EDRA/GHIN, Hima and Dähne Verlag, the European home improvement market is the third biggest in the world after North America and the Asia-Pacific Region, with sales exceeding 158 billion euros in 2022,” said Thomas Rosolia, CEO of Koelnmesse Italia. “A year ago, we faced the major challenge of creating a purely Italian trade show with a European focus in order to give this sector a voice and to showcase to best effect the strengths of Italian companies. The market has proved us right.” The outcome of the first edition exceeded the expectations of more than 5 300 visitors from 30 countries.
