Philippine home improvement retailer Allhome has recalibrated its store expansion plan which was originally focused on the regional capital of Metro Manila. The company disclosed in the minutes of its annual meeting, a copy of which was submitted to the Philippine bourse, that it was now going to focus on opening stores outside the metro, contrary to earlier plans of strengthening its presence in the capital. This is to align its strategy with larger affiliate Vista Land, a property development firm, it added.
Both Allhome and Vista Land are owned by the Villar group, which is headed by Manuel B. Villar, the Philippines’ richest person.
