Indicating bullishness on its prospects in Poland, Malaysian home goods giant Mr. DIY has disclosed plans to rapidly grow in the country over the next four months. In a statement, Mr. DIY Malaysia chief operation officer Leo Gan said that Mr. DIY Poland - which is set to open its first stores in four locations across central and southern cities in the country starting next month - is targeting to have ten stores operating in the country by end-March 2025.
"This will not only give customers more value-based choices, but will also create job opportunities, which will have a positive knock-on effect on local economies - a reflection of our commitment to positively impact communities wherever we operate," said Gan. The official attributes the group’s confident outlook on Poland to a "dynamic market with attractive retail opportunities".
