The Thai operations of Asian home goods giant Mr. DIY has launched a fleet of electric trucks as part of its move to modernise logistics. In a statement, Mr. DIY Thailand, which is set to hold a maiden offering in the country’s main bourse, said the launch of six electric vehicles “underscores its dedication to reducing its environmental footprint”.
Apart from the launch of the trucks, MR. DIY Thailand has also installed 300 solar panels on its warehouses and fully transitioned to electric forklifts. It also plans to incorporate electronic pickup trucks for employee transportation and install solar panels in stores nationwide.
