OBI is about to undergo a restructuring of its board. On 1 January, Dr. Urszula Nartowska will be appointed to the board of OBI Group Holding SE & Co. KGaA. The 47-year-old will take over the position of Chief People & Organisational Development Officer. Chief Officer CE Peter Tepaß will retire as planned in the middle of next year, but will continue to work for the company as a consultant. Manuel van de Kamp will not extend his contract as Chief Product Officer and will leave the company after setting up the digital Obi ecosystem.

The Board of Management position of Chief People & Organisational Development Officer has been newly created. According to a press release, this is a sign of the increased focus on employees at Obi.
