The onset of the rainy season as well as the weak Thai economy weighed on home improvement retail chain Dohome Public Company Ltd’s sales revenues for the third quarter, exacerbating the dismal performance of the company over the nine months ending September 2024. In a disclosure to the Thai bourse, DoHome stated sales revenues for the third quarter reached TBH 7.301 bn (Thai baht, EUR 202.67 mio), almost flat from THB 7.358 bn in the same quarter the previous year. The company said that this was because of a 4.5 per cent contraction in comparative sales stemming from a number of economic and weather-related factors.
