The programme is set, registrations are open – the 11th Global DIY-Summit is taking shape. This years summit, hosted by the industry associations Edra/Ghin and Hima, will take place in Lisbon from 11 to 13 June 2025. Under the theme „A New World Order: Redefining DIY for a Global Future”, the event will tackle the most pressing topics reshaping the home improvement industry, according to the organisers.

The Summit traditionally begins with a store tour to „some of the most inspiring home improvement stores in the Lisbon area“ and an evening get-together, as per a press release. The following two days are filled with presentations, discussions and speeches. The key sessions are set to address global economic and political shifts, including the global economic and political overview, providing insights into macroeconomic and geopolitical changes.

For example, the session „Driving Transformation: Shaping Mindsets and Thriving Through Organizational Change“ will explore strategies for navigating transformation. How to achieve success in an evolving retail environment will the the theme of „Global Retail Strategies: Driving Success in Home Improvement“. 
The summit will also focus on the changing dynamics of the DIY market. Discussions such as „Bridging the Generational Gap in DIY“ andRedefining DIY“ will take a look at how marketplaces are influencing retail. Sustainability will be a key theme with „Growing with Purpose“, while „AI in DIY: Revolutionizing the Future of Home Improvement“ will explore technological advancements.
