Irish DIY chain Woodie's is tenth member of Arena

The Irish DIY store chain Woodie's is a new member of the international purchasing cooperative Arena. Woodie's is a subsidiary of the Irish Grafton Group and operates 35 DIY stores in Ireland. It joined Arena on 19 February 2025. This means that Arena now has ten member companies, in addition to the newcomer: Hagebau in Germany, Le Groupement Les Mousquetaires in France with the Bricomarché and Bricorama sales lines, Hagebau shareholder Jumbo (Coop) in Switzerland, Gruppo Bricofer in Italy, Dedeman in Romania, Pevex in Croatia, the Dutch Maxeda DIY Group in the Benelux countries with the Praxis, Brico and Brico Planit sales lines, Groupe BMR in Canada and Kent Building Supplies. Their combined sales (including VAT) amount to more than EUR 20.4 bn.
