The Polish company Bewex distributes a broad spectrum of products that are of interest to both DIY stores and garden centres. High-quality steel is used in the manufacture of these products. They can also be produced on request to the standards required by the company’s manufacturing or retail partners, and supplied with appropriate labelling. Bewex was founded in 1991 as a family-run business with the aim of exporting metal goods like toolboxes and cabinets and similar items. The product offer has in the meantime been increased, with the inclusion of handmade Christmas tree ornaments and glassware such as vases, candlesticks and decanters in the range since 1993. The company has six employees and had a turnover of € 3.5 mio in the year 2002.Bewex distributes the products of a great number of Polish manufacturers, including small firms in quite remote areas. The company puts great emphasis not only on quality but on competitive pricing as well.
