The Polish operations of Asian home improvement retailer Mr. DIY has formally started after the company that operates the retail chain in the country held a soft opening for its first store in Poland. Mr. DIY Poland had the soft launch of its inaugural outlet, located at the Platan Shopping Center in Zabrze, on 15 November “as a tribute to our employees [to] give them time and space to get used to the new workplace and check if everything works as it should,” the retailer said in a LinkedIn post.
Mr. DIY Poland is run by Mr. DIY Poland sp. z.o.o., a company under Mr. DIY International Holdings Ltd., the vehicle that controls all of the Mr. DIY operations outside of Malaysia and Brunei. Poland is the 13th global market and the second European Union market of Mr. DIY.
