The Italian company Mariotti, which was founded in the year 1926, has over many years specialised in the production of garden and terrazzo paving. Three generations have carried this process along, contributing a stream of new ideas to the firm’s development. The company sells its products all over the world. In fact, it claims that it has for years been having increasing success with its activities in the German market, and especially in the DIY superstores. Trading partners are visited by the company’s field staff at regular intervals.
At the company’s disposal at its headquarters in Areno Po, 60 km south of Milan, is an area of 40 000 m² for production and warehousing. The daily output amounts to 4 000 m of precast paving, the production of which is subject to stringent internal quality control. External monitoring is carried out by a specialist German firm, Güteschutz Beton- und Fertigteilwerke Hessen. As a result, Mariotti has product certification in accordance with DIN standards.
Mariotti offers a great selection of paving for outdoor uses.
The spectrum of products is broad, ranging as it does from simple exposed-aggregate concrete slabs to more elegant garden paving with granite graining and a fine finish. Deliveries are made on euro-pallets.
The garden paving stones in the standard dimensions of 40 cm x 40 cm x 3.5 cm are non-slip, frost-resistant and easy-care. The range includes 70 colours and is organised by texture, composition and finish. The terrazzo tiles (30 cm x 30 cm x 2.7 cm) are polished, non-slip and suitable for indoor uses as well as garages and foyers. They are available in classic single-colour mixes, as well as in modern, multi-colour versions. Company headquarters reports that the Esoroccia tile has turned into a great sales success over the past two years. The 40 cm x 40 cm x 3.5 cm tile is sandblasted and impregnated and has a chamfered edge. It comes in a great range of colours that feature warm Mediterranean shades, making it suitable for a great variety of applications, e.g. in the garden, on the patio or balcony, or for swimming baths.
