At company headquarters in Netanya, Elgo can look back over a century of experience in this field. Founded in 1906, the company is one of the pioneers of irrigation in Israel whose aim was to make the Israeli desert bloom.
Over the years Elgo has made a name for itself in more than 60 countries as a supplier of irrigation products for both consumer and commercial applications. This company with customers in the USA, Europe and Australia considers itself to be one of the leading manufacturers of private-label products, and also supplies irrigation solutions to the major DIY chains around the world.
Elgo is constantly involved in the development of new products and holds a great number of international patents. The company claims that all products are manufactured from non-toxic raw materials in compliance with international standards of quality and environmental regulations.
The product programme includes sprinklers, oscillators, watering pistols and wands, quick connectors, brass accessories, hose reels and carts. Also included are underground watering systems, timers and micro sprinklers.
Elgo offers store support in the shape of promotion stands and planograms to promote either an individual product or a whole product family. All products come illustrated with simple graphics that are designed to make it easy to use them, even for beginners.
This year’s innovations include the lightweight Lock‘n Roll hose reel, which can be folded up to occupy less space on the shelves. In the quick connector range Elgo has also introduced “Flexi”, a flexible hose connector that prevents hose kinking. It is designed to fit onto water taps or hose end apparatuses. Yet another new launch is a universal hose connector covered with rubber for maximum grip even under wet conditions.
